Chapter 04 / Projects
The calendar is the heart of it.
House organizes campaigns, flows, and the rest of an email agency’s work around the client and the people delivering it. What needs to happen, when, who owns it, and how to do it.
Built for ecommerce email agencies.
The idea behind Work HQ

Give each kind of work its place.
Keep emails and sends with their flow or campaign. General tasks have a place too. The combined Work view brings the assignments together, while client and pod views let you focus on one brand or the team serving several.
Work HQ pairs the calendar with the week’s work and items that need attention. Personal views bring each teammate’s assignments and relevant dates forward. The dashboard provides a way into due and overdue work, where supported task views let people update stages or reschedule dates.
Pick up the work without rebuilding its history.
Open the deliverable.
Read the brief, follow the creative links, see the stage and assignments, and check the next milestone. Copy can stay in its source document; the deliverable points to it.
Work with the team.
Use checklists and record discussions to keep the next step clear. Comments and mentions give the people involved a way to respond in context. Reviewed follow-ups use the agency’s configured communication channels.
Keep the plan current.
Update the work directly or ask Homi to propose supported changes. Brief drafts and QA checks can help on flow and campaign items; people decide what to use and what needs attention.
The work, explained
Are the calendar and list separate copies of the work?
No. They are views of the same underlying deliverables. A client view, a pod view, and a personal view bring different parts of that work forward.
Do SOP links give everyone access to a restricted resource?
No. The How section references the resource in Learning. Its audience rules still apply; linking it does not grant access.
Projects, in the whole House
Make the next step obvious.
A good system gives the team enough structure to move together—and enough space to make something good.
The design milestone belongs to a person. Their assignments and availability give Capacity something concrete to measure.
