Chapter 06 / Learning

Your way of working, ready for the next person.

Trainings for how you think. SOPs for how you do it. Give teammates a path into the agency’s knowledge, and keep that knowledge useful on the job.

Built for ecommerce email agencies.

People, project management, and learning—together

As you can see, this is core to House. It is the integration of People, PMS, and LMS. It Is House. And in it is the essence of our unique operating philosophy from the past 5 years.

A library people return to.

Organize trainings, SOPs, FAQs, lingo, handbook material, values, and useful extras. Roles and departments help people find what is relevant. Search and browse give a growing library a way to stay usable.

SOPs can explain when to use them, the steps, and what done looks like, with videos, links, and attachments where useful. Drafts, published revisions, discussions, and review handoffs give the team a way to improve the instructions without losing the current source.

Shared knowledge. A personal way through it.

For the team

New hires receive the published foundation and matching role or department tracks. Authorized managers can follow progress in Learning, People profiles, and onboarding. Acknowledgments record the version someone completed.

For the learner

Private notes, highlights, and a personal shelf let each person make sense of the material in their own way. Notebook content stays out of Homi and shared work.

Give Homi something worth learning from.

Published resources within a person’s access can help Homi answer questions. The SOPs and trainings linked to a work item can also guide its brief drafts and QA checks. The quality of the source still matters.

Homi can suggest track placement, a new track, or a different order. People review and accept supported changes. Publishing a resource does not silently decide where it belongs in everyone’s learning path.

Keeping the source useful

Does changing an SOP erase someone’s completed learning?

No. Acknowledgment history records the resource revision and when it was completed. Renewed acknowledgment requires explicit reassignment.

Does everyone publish everything?

The agency controls publishing and editor permissions. Resource audiences also apply across Learning, Homi, attachments, and links from deliverables.

Learning, in the whole House

Let the agency get better at what it knows.

The next teammate should inherit more than a folder. Give them the thinking, the practice, and a place to contribute.

A deliverable points to the canonical resource. Improve the source in Learning and the team has one place to return to.
